All pieces related to sexual violence are welcome. Artists may choose whether or not to offer their art for sale (provided that a negotiable portion of proceeds is directed to the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton).
Suggested themes include, but are not limited to: coercion, consent, survivor vs. victim, violation, sexual exploitation, effects of sexual assault, hope after sexual assault, child sexual abuse, sexual harassment, sexual assault and oppression, sexual assault as a hate crime…

Healing Trauma with Yoga:
An Experiential Group Integrating Yoga for Female Adult Survivors of Sexual Violence
This is a FREE YOGA course for women (18+) who have experienced sexual assault and who are interested in exploring yoga and group therapy. The group will incorporate trauma sensitive yoga classes, mindfulness practices, information, sharing, and discussions.
When: February 19 – March 26, 2010
Fridays, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Where: Shanti Yoga Studio, #2, 10026-102nd Street
Duration: Two hours once a week for six weeks.
