Taking Action for a Better World: PIA’s Youth Activist Forum

Public Interest Alberta is hosting a youth forum!

Taking Action for a Better World: PIA’s Youth Activist Forum

Space is limited, only 60 spots, so register soon!

The purpose of this forum is to support young activists! To create a space for connections, getting inspired, and building skills.

We are thrilled to have four youth activists join us as featured guests:

• Brigette DePape – former senate page, who held up “Stop Harper” sign

• Melanie Butler – Former Director of Code Pink, New York,

• Liz Wingert – Teacher Activist from Wisconsin

• Jill Crop Eared Wolf – Blood Tribe

To kick off the forum, they are having a Saturday Night Social & Activist Open Mic!
Join us for the pre-party, on Saturday April 21st, from 7:30-10:30pm, at Pacific Cafe, 10874 97 Street, Edmonton. All ages welcome.

Come share snacks, drinks, and conversation. They will have an open mic, and all are welcome to share poetry, music, stories….whatever your talent is! They will also have fun activities, such as button-making and a zine-library.

Check out their website for more information on the presenters and registration!
